Fair questions, honest answers.

Why do you quote “from”?: Because the same job can mean slightly different things in different houses — an EICR in a one-bed flat genuinely is cheaper than one in a five-bed with outbuildings. “From” is our starting price; we confirm the exact estimated figure in writing before we start, and it never changes once the quote is accepted.
Do prices include VAT?: Yes, every price on this page includes VAT at 20%. The figure you see is the figure you pay.
What if the job turns out to need more work once you’re on site?: If we spot something extra once we’re there — which occasionally happens on older properties — we stop, show you what we’ve found, and give you a separate estimate before doing anything extra. You’re never billed for surprises.
Do you charge a call-out fee?: Not for quoted work during normal hours inside our Watford/London patch. Emergency call-outs are £95 including the first hour on site.
How do I pay?: Bank transfer or card at the door on the day of completion. We don’t take online payments — it keeps the site simple and keeps the cost to you lower.
