Just got your first electric car? Congratulations — and welcome to the club of people who never want to visit a petrol station again. A proper home charger (usually 7 kW) will add about 30 miles of range per hour, so overnight you’re back to full. Much safer and much faster than plugging into a normal three-pin socket.
We install every major charger — Zappi, Ohme, Easee, Pod Point, Wallbox, Tesla — in Watford, north-west London and across Hertfordshire. We handle the grant paperwork if you qualify, route the cable neatly so it doesn’t look like an afterthought, and leave you with an app connected to your car. Usually on and off the drive in half a day.

Timeline & pricing
A straightforward install — meter adjacent to the parking spot, less than three metres of cable run — is £799 including the unit. Most Watford homes land between £895 and £1,150 once cable routing, internal walls and a tidy cable tray are added. Load-balanced solar installs (Zappi with a CT clamp on the incoming tails) are £995–£1,250.
Certified properly
Every charger we install complies with BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 Section 722 and the IET Code of Practice for EV Charging. Chargers are supplied with Type A + 6 mA DC detection, compliant with the OZEV Smart Charge Point Regulations 2021, and the install is notified to your DNO where required.
