Quotations
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise, and are based on the scope visible at the time of survey. Unforeseen conditions found behind walls or in consumer units may require a revised quote — we will tell you before proceeding.
All quotes include VAT at the prevailing rate.
Payment
Unless agreed in writing, payment is due within 14 days of invoice by bank transfer or card at the door. We do not take online payments through this website.
Late payment may incur interest at the rate set out in the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Workmanship & guarantees
All work is carried out to BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 (18th Edition) and notified under Part P where applicable. Notifiable work is covered by the NICEIC Platinum Promise for six years from the date of issue.
We will return free of charge to rectify any defect in our workmanship reported within 12 months of completion.
Cancellation
You may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled start with no charge. Cancellations inside 24 hours may incur a call-out fee.
Consumer-contract cancellation rights apply for bookings made at a distance: you have 14 days to cancel, subject to the exception that any work you have expressly asked us to begin within that period is not refundable.
Liability
We hold £5 million public liability insurance. Our total liability for any single job is limited to the value of the work invoiced, except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for which liability is unlimited as required by law.
Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales.
